Meditation
I am a huge advocate for meditation of some kind: I have personally found it to be one of the most beneficial things I have been able to do for my own mental health: it calms my mind and helps me try and build a world where I am able to get some distance from the daily turmoil of thought.
I recommend the Headspace app to clients regularly: they usually offer some kind of free trial and their Basics courses are great starting points.
However - if that is not financially manageable, there are lots of great (free) resources on Youtube: a search like this is a great starting point!
